SHORT STORY: The Great Danes celebrated 19 total seniors, men and women, ahead of their annual home meet, Friday.
 
KEY NOTES

• Both UAlbany competitors, Anthony Couch and Kyaire Lawson, surpassed the previous meet record of 53.11 in the 400m hurdles. Couch now holds the meet record and is ranked ninth in program history.
• Tooni Ogunyeye added a broken meet record beating the one set in 2023 in the 100m dash by nearly a tenth of a second. With a personal record, Ogunyeye has improved his time as fourth in program history.
• In the long jump, Samir Gardner is now tied with Frederick Casimo for eighth-best in program history. 
• As a team, the Great Danes recorded 16 personal records at their annual home meet.
