SHORT STORY: The Great Danes combined for five individual champions with four top-10 performances at the America East Championship, Saturday and Sunday.

KEY NOTES
- As a team, UAlbany totaled five individual champions.
- Jed Elmbarki took home two titles - the 3000mS and the 5000m - and was voted the Most Outstanding Track Performer.
- Jacob Smith won the 1500m for his first individual outdoor title.
- Freshman Leonard Durau jumped his way to an individual title in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.56m (51-0.75). His mark moves him up to sixth in program history. Brooks Robson added the bronze in triple jump to make it two Great Danes on the podium.
- Robson earned his first individual title as a Great Dane in the long jump. His mark (7.47m/24-6.25) also puts him seventh in program history.
- Qualiar Newton improved to fourth in program history in the weight throw with a mark of 57.67m (189-2).
- Taehyeong Kim entered the program's top-10 with a 15.22m (49-11.25) jump in the triple jump, which puts him eighth all-time.
- The men's 4x800m relay broke the meet record; however, UMBC overcame them in the final few seconds of the race to record the official record and earn the gold medal.
- Sophomore Kenan Grant was the final of three men's competitors to earn two individual medals with the silver in the 200m and the bronze in the 100m.
- Overall, the Great Danes compiled 14 medalists and 22 scorers.
