Football “Pink Game” Returns, Set for November 8

ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany football program is set to host its annual "Pink Game" at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, against CAA opponent Bryant to support the American Cancer Society. This impactful game offers the community a unique opportunity to honor and remember a loved one who has been impacted by any type of cancer.

By making a donation of $50, supporters can have the name of someone they wish to honor or remember displayed on a UAlbany football player's helmet. As an additional thank you, all donations will include two (2) complimentary tickets to the November 8th game.

Tribute Helmet donations must be submitted by Friday, October 22, 2025. To purchase, click here.

Since UAlbany Athletics became involved in Men Wear Pink in 2017, almost $50,000 has been raised in the fight against cancer.

The UAlbany Athletic Department continues to plan this signature event on an annual basis. This season, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations Travis Wilson has once again committed to taking a stand against breast cancer through the American Cancer Society's 2025 Men Wear Pink campaign.

"I am incredibly honored to be asked by Mark Benson to represent UAlbany Athletics for the Men Wear Pink campaign for a second year," said Wilson. "Our partnership with the American Cancer Society has only grown stronger, and we have deep respect for the critical work they do in the fight against all cancers. This year's Pink Game is exceptionally meaningful as my Godmother Debbie Braley, Aunt Carla Manning, and Aunt Lisa Taylor continue their courageous battles. They are an inspiration, and I wouldn't be where I am without the strength of these women."

Wilson added, "On Saturday, November 8, our fans will get to enjoy a great football game at Casey Stadium while actively joining the battle against cancer. We are counting on the Great Dane family to join us in raising awareness and vital funding. Together, we can help make the future brighter for countless families."

"The Pink Game is always a highlight of our season and an incredibly special day for our football team," added head coach Jared Ambrose. "The ACS continues to do phenomenal work in collaboration with our administration and student-athletes to raise funds for this profoundly important cause. Our staff and players love seeing all the pink in the Casey Stadium stands."
