Dylan Banner and
Ryan Ferremi have been named to the America East Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The conference announced its Preseason All-Conference Team along with its annual Coaches' Poll, voted on by all seven of the league's head coaches.
Â
Banner, a junior from Plainview, N.Y., in his third season with the Great Danes, pitched 52.0 innings last season en route to a 4-2 record. His 4.85 ERA was good for 10
th overall in the conference. Banner held batters to just a .209 batting average, the lowest among all eligible pitchers in the America East. He allowed just 28 earned runs on 39 hits with 40 strikeouts throughout the year. Â

Ferremi, a senior from West Islip, N.Y., batted .288 last season with an .821 OPS. The first baseman totaled 49 hits in 170 at-bats, notching nine doubles and three home runs. He knocked in 26 RBIs and recorded 29 walks, earning on OBP of .427. Ferremi started in nearly every game for the Great Danes, making 48 starts in 49 games played.

UAlbany finished 2024 with an overall record of 15-34-1, going 10-13 in conference play. The Great Danes faced UMass Lowell in the First Round of the America East Tournament, falling in a close game to the Riverhawks, 4-5.

The Great Danes start the 2025 season with a trip to Lamar University from February 21 to 23. The first home series of the 2025 season is set for March 28-30 against Binghamton. Â
