- The Great Danes got on the board early, scoring three runs in the top of the first.
- Michael Maggio opened the game by getting on base with a bunt and ultimately made it home on a single by Levi McAllister.
- Tre Mariano followed McAllister with a single of his own.
- Jaxon Mueller doubled to drive both Mariano and McAllister home.
- Maine was quick to cut their advantage to one after a two-run homer from Hunter St. Denis in the bottom of the first.
- The Black Bears took a 5-3 lead of the game in the bottom of the second when Juju Stevens cleared the loaded bases with a double.
- Cooper Loyal singled in the top of the third, bringing Mueller home and reducing Maine's advantage to just one run.
- Though both teams landed runners on base in both the fourth and fifth innings, none were able to make it home.
- Patrick DeSarno singled to land on base in the top of the sixth. He was driven home by Tre Mariano to tie the game, 5-5.
- The Black Bears came storming back, scoring six runs in the bottom of the inning to take an 11-5 win.
