  • Abidi placed second in the men's 800m in 1:50.88.
  • Newberry placed third in the women's 200m in 24.26.
  • The men's 4x400m relay team of Quincy Chery (49.14), John Fermpong (49.60), Raiden Guialdo (52.12), and Giovanni Gonzalez (50.22) placed fifth in 3:21.07.
  • Steph Green placed third in the women's weight throw in 61-11.00; Kiki Nosile placed sixth in a personal-best 60-03.25.
  • Amelia Benjamin placed sixth in the women's high jump, clearing 5-07.00.
  • Ja'Lil Reynolds placed sixth in the men's invitational high jump, clearing 6-06.00.
  • Zhi Luncheon-Lowrie placed fourth in the men's college high jump, clearing 6-04.75; Alex Ordonez placed eighth, clearing the same height, a personal-best.
  • Leann Nicholas won the women's triple jump in an indoor-best 42-11.00. 
Meet Notes
  • In the preliminary round of the Blue division of the women's 60m, Dominique Clarke qualified first overall in 7.46, Jazmen Newberry qualified sixth in a personal-best 7.57, and Shantae Pryce qualified eighth in 7.64.  Pryce finished ninth in the final in 7.77.
  • Newberry moves into a tie for seventh place in program history in the women's 60m.
  • Shavar Staats Jr. moves into third place in program history in the men's 60m.
  • Shania Scott moves into a tie for third place in program history in the women's indoor shot put.
  • Hassan Abidi moves into eighth place in program history in the men's indoor 800m.
  • Kiki Nosile's mark in the women's weight throw is a personal-best by nearly four feet, and moves into seventh place in program history.  She is just the seventh Great Dane to record a mark over 60' in the event.
  • John Coddington placed 12th in the men's weight throw in a personal-best 56-11.50, moving into sixth place in program history.
  • Leann Nicholas' mark in the triple jump breaks her indoor best by seven inches, and sets a new indoor program record, surpassing the previous mark of 42-07.00 set in 2008 by Arina Gerasimova.
  • UAlbany alumna Grace Claxton, competing for Puerto Rico, placed second in the women's invitational 400m in 54.31.

Friday
  • After the first day of competition, Krishmar Powell was second in the men's heptathlon with 740 points, placing second in each of the heptathlon's first four events.  Pete Meehan was third, with 619 points, placing third in the long jump, shot put, and high jump, and fourth in the 60m.  Tino Mancabelli won the 60m and the long jump, but discontinued before the shot put.
Saturday
  • Meehan finished second overall after the full seven events, scoring 4,076 points and winning the 60m hurdles on the second day and placing third in the pole vault.  Powell finished third with 3,953 points, earning second place in the 60m hurdles.
  • Melissa Gueye placed second in the women's pentathlon, scoring 2,921 points, after winning the shot put and placing second in the 60m hurdles and the long jump.  Brianna Thier placed third with 2,842 points, placing third in the 60m hurdles and the 800m.  Grace Adeyeye placed seventh with a personal-best 2,451 points, placing second in the high jump and third in the shot put.
  • Eva Edery placed third in the women's pole vault, clearing a personal-best 10-10.00; Hannah Solomon-Hollander placed fourth, clearing 9-10.00.
  • Gabe Snyder placed third in the men's pole vault, clearing 13-07.25.
Meet Notes
  • Eva Edery moves into a tie for ninth place in program history in the women's pole vault.
  • UAlbany alumni Ryan Udvadia and Charlie Ragone placed first and third, respectively, in the men's 5,000m.  Udvadia crossed the line in 15:18.18, and Ragone in 15:49.12. 
Next: UAlbany returns to Boston next weekend to compete in Harvard's Crimson Elite Invitational and Boston University's Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invitational.
