ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany women's golf team continues their fall competition with their first invitational of the season.
The 25th Princeton Invitational will take place at the Springdale Golf Club on Saturday, September 16, and Sunday, September 17. The first tee will begin with a 9 am shotgun start. The Tigers will be hosting 12 teams - UAlbany, Boston U., Columbia, Dartmouth, Fairleigh Dickinson, Harvard, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Penn, Princeton, Seton Hall, and St. John's. The teams will play two rounds on Saturday and conclude with a final round on Sunday.
GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany opened the fall with the Crosstown Challenge (Sept. 10).
- Senior Malene Clausen led the Great Danes with a single-round score of three above par.
- Seniors Mariel Tee and Katelin Richards and junior Claudia Blöchliger followed with scores under 80.
- As a team, UAlbany beat Siena with a double-digit stroke margin at the season-opening matchup.
NEXT: The Great Danes will continue their fall season at the Red Bandanna Intercollegiate hosted by Boston University (Sept. 25-26).
