Finish: T-2^nd Place – FULL RESULTS
 
Location: Bermuda Triangle Collegiate at Port Royal GC in Bermuda.
 
Short Story: The University at Albany women's golf team rallied to finish tied for second place at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate, hosted at the Port Royal GC in Bermuda.
 
Mia Cepeda led the way for the Great Danes, finishing in a tie for sixth place. After shooting a first round of +10, the sophomore rebounded with rounds of +2 and +4 to finish at +16 overall. She shot three birdies through three rounds.
 
Seniors Thantita Aungsuseewong and Lucia Esteban followed, both shooting +20 to finish in a tie for 10^th place. Aungsuseewong shot rounds of +8, +3, and +9. Esteban shot rounds of +3, +7, and +10.
 
The rest of the team was rounded out by Madison Kuratani (+24) with a T-18 finish, Nicole Criscone (+32) with a T-38 finish, and Callie Taylor (+38) with a T-49 finish.
 
Head Coach Colleen Cashman: "Bermuda was an amazing experience. The turquoise waters are the most beautiful we've ever seen. The wind added a true test to the golfing experience for sure. 35 mph winds was certainly something none of the players had seen before. It was tough to stand up, let alone swing a golf club. There were many things to be proud of this week. Mia really grinded out her rounds every day. Our two seniors each had a couple of good rounds as well. Finishing second as a team was the goal this week, and we reached it. But we still have some work to do overall. We didn't make enough birdies, and we still made too many big numbers. But overall, we'll take second place with smiles on our faces!"
