Location: Crosstown Challenge at Pinehaven Country Club in Guilderland, N.Y.
 
Short Story: The University at Albany women's golf team hosted crosstown rival Siena University on Friday afternoon at Pinehaven Country Club, taking down their rival in a single round shootout. 
 
Madison Kuratani led the Great Danes, shooting even-par (71) to take first place. Mia Cepeda, Sydney Fuke, and Jessica Brown each carded a 76 (+6). Callie Taylor and Nicole Criscone shot 78 (+7), while Jasmine Furstenburg and Sadhbh Bullock rounded out the lineup with a 79 (+8) and 81 (+10).

Head Coach Colleen Cashman: "When I started the Crosstown Challenge 14 years ago, I didn't realize what a nice tradition it would become. We didn't get off to a very strong start—zero birdies on the front nine makes it hard to score. But everyone settled in, finished solid, and put up a lot of red numbers on the back nine. It's a low-pressure, competitive event that everyone enjoys. We still have work to do, but it's always nice to get the W over our crosstown rival!"
