Delinois Named Video Coordinator

ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany women's basketball head coach Colleen Mullen has announced the hiring of Nailah Delinois as the program's Video Coordinator.
 
"We are excited to welcome Nailah Delinois as our program's video coordinator," said Mullen. "Nailah's experience as a successful collegiate player and professional makes her a great fit for this position. Her energy and enthusiasm will be a great addition to our Great Dane family."
 
As the Video Coordinator, Delinois will be involved in the recording of film and breakdown for practice, organizing the team's community service, and coordinating social media efforts. She will also assist in many other various tasks including but not limited to creating the newsletters, game day set up, and planning special events.
 
"I'm excited to join the Great Danes program," said Nailah Delinois. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn how to be a coach from a championship-producing staff!"
 
Delinois joins the Great Danes women's basketball staff while working on a Master's in Sports Revenue at Nova Southeastern University.
 
While previously studying at Coppin State University, she became a student assistant for the women's basketball team. Delinois assisted in many areas including but not limited to travel plans, on-campus recruiting activities, and in-game stat-keeping.
 
As a student-athlete, she competed for both Coppin State and Saint Joseph's. In one season (2020-21) at Coppin State, Delinois started 11 games and recorded a season-high 13 points and seven rebounds. She led the Eagles in three-point field goal percentage and ranked second on the team with six blocks.
 
Prior to attending graduate school at Coppin State, Delinois saw two seasons of undergraduate play at Saint Joseph's University. Appearing in 51 games with the Hawks, she recorded a career-high 14 points and seven rebounds as a senior. The 2019-20 Best Defensive Player, named by the team, totaled 25 steals and eight blocks with 2.6 rebounds per game at SJU.
 
While at Saint Joseph's, Delinois often coached and mentored young basketball players. For four years, she served as a camp counselor for the Cindy Griffin Basketball Camp, where she would work on player development with middle and high school athletes.
 
A native of Sunrise, Fla., Delinois holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Marketing. She currently resides in Albany, N.Y.
