• Vermont came out aggressive and built an early lead behind an efficient offense, while UAlbany answered with baskets from Delanie Hill and Bella Stuart to keep pace.
• The Catamounts closed the quarter on a short run to take a 14-9 lead after one.
• UAlbany found more rhythm offensively in the second as Hill attacked the paint and the Great Danes began to generate second-chance opportunities.
• Stuart connected from three to trim the deficit and keep the Great Danes within striking distance.
• Vermont responded late in the quarter with timely buckets to carry a 28-20 advantage into halftime.
• Out of the break, Martina Borrellas controlled the glass and helped UAlbany create extra possessions while Hill continued to lead the scoring effort.
