BOSTON - The University at Albany women's basketball's Ellen Hahne was named the America East Player of the Week, announced Monday.
 
A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Hahne grabbed an excellent week for the Great Danes in a 1-1 week against Dartmouth (12/6) and Boston College (12/10). Averaging 35.5 minutes, the graduate student worked for 19.0 points per game, 6.5 assists per game, 5.5 rebounds per game, 2.5 steals per game, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 14-for-18 from the field.
 
This is Hahne's second award of the season. 
 
As a team, the Great Danes have totaled two conference weekly awards - the first was Hahne's Nov. 14 Player of the Week honor.
 
The Great Danes will return to action at Stonehill on Wednesday, December 14.
