ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany's women's golf team is set to conclude its fall competition with a two-day tournament in Bethlehem, Pa.
The Lehigh Invitational will take place at the Grace Course located at Saucon Valley Country Club on Monday, October 24, and Tuesday, October 25. The Mountain Hawks will be hosting 16 teams - UAlbany, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Holy Cross, Howard, La Salle, LIU, Merrimack, Monmouth, Navy, Niagara, Quinnipiac, Saint Francis, St. Johns, and Wagner. The Grace Course will feature 18 holes each day for a total of two rounds in the two-day event.

GREAT DANE REWIND
- UAlbany has competed at five events this fall - the Yale Invitational (Sept. 10-11), the Crosstown Challenge (Sept. 18), the Princeton Invitational (Sept. 24-25), the Hartford Hawks Invitational (Oct. 3-4), and the SHU Fall Classic (Oct. 16-17).
- Lucia Esteban led the Great Danes in all three rounds in Connecticut (Yale). Her final score was just eight above par.
- Tallying the best single-round score UAlbany has seen at Wolferts Roost, junior Mariel Tee led the Great Danes with a 67 on the par-70 golf course. Esteban followed Tee with a +1 at the Crosstown Challenge.
- As a team, UAlbany beat Siena at the crosstown competition with one of the best team scores in Crosstown Challenge history - 284.
- In addition to Esteban and Tee, sophomore Claudia Blöchliger, junior Maddie Campos, and junior Katelin Richards competed at Yale while all seven Great Danes played the Crosstown Challenge round.
- Three different golfers led the Great Danes in each round at Princeton. Esteban led in the first round while Tee and Blöchliger topped the team in the second and third rounds, respectively.
- Earning an even par in the final round of the competition, Blöchliger finished with a score of 227 through three rounds to finish first on the team and 22nd overall.
- As a team, UAlbany improved two positions to finish tied for eighth (921) after closing the Princeton Invitational with a 301 team score in round three.
- The Great Danes' most recent round of play was a team-low 302 on day two at the Hartford Hawks Invitational. Improving two places after this round, UAlbany finished third in Connecticut.
- Tee grabbed her second team-leading performance, first in a multi-round weekend, with a second-place finish (151 (+11)) at Hartford.
- Richards added a top-10 finish with a 78 on day one and a 77 on day two.
- At the SHU Fall Classic, UAlbany shot a 315 which placed them sixth on the first day. On day two, the Great Danes shot a 316, which allowed them to finish with a 631 in a tie for fourth overall.
- Richards led the Great Danes as she placed seventh overall by shooting a score of 151 (+7). Not far behind her was Tee who shot a 157, allowing her to tie for 17th overall.
- Junior Malene Clausen competed as an individual at the classic. With a +14, she tied for 19th overall.
NEXT: The Great Danes will be back in action for the spring season.
