How it Happened
- Due to inclement in the afternoon forecast, the races were moved up three hours late Friday night
- For the third-straight week, freshman Tess Fitzmaurice was the top finisher for the UAlbany women, placing 117th in 18:58.6.
- Noreen Guilfoyle finished second for UAlbany, 143rd overall in 19:26.0
- The women's scoring gap was 1:33.1
- North Carolina won the women's team title, scoring 64 points, ahead of runner-up Providence which scored 72. UNC  freshman Brynn Brown claimed the individual title, leading two Tar Heels in the top six
- Antonio Beltran was the top UAlbany finisher, also for the third-straight week, crossing the line in 75th in 25:52.6
- Brandon Garcia followed Beltran in 104th in 26:20.4
- The men's scoring gap was 3:39.5
- Arkansas won the men's race with 39 points, ahead of runner-up Syracuse's 60. The Razorbacks swept the top two individual places, and four of the top six, with Syracuse filling in third and fourth
- Two Great Danes competed in the Open 5K: Dean Athanailos placed 56th in 17:16.1 and Adam King placed 74th in 18:57.3, and
Next: UAlbany does not compete again until October 15 when the team hosts the R.K. Munsey UAlbany XC Invitational.
