Short story: The UAlbany cross country team took its only trip to Boston this season, competing in the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown for their second meet of the year.

How it happened

• Hannah Reinhardt placed 24th overall in the women's 5K in a season-best 18:00.1
• Kelly Iocca, Kaylah Quarshie, Mercedes Planavsky, Noreen Guilfoyle, Sydney Coddington, and Kait Butterfield also ran season bests
• The women's scoring gap was two minutes and 27 seconds
• 197 individuals from 22 teams competed in the women's race
• Christopher Perillo placed 96th overall in the men's 8K in a personal-best 25:58.8
• Nassim Ramdani and Jake Johnson also ran season bests
• The men's scoring gap was one minute and 47 seconds
• 192 individuals from 21 teams competed in the men's race
• Francisco Beltran, Dean Athanailos, Maddy Brogan, Amanda Chambers, and Samantha Zitomer each competed in the combined 5K
