Albany, N.Y. – Entering the weekend on a four-game win streak, the University at Albany women's basketball team will host Maine on Saturday, February 16 at the SEFCU Arena. In partnering with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and the American Cancer Society, the Great Danes will host their annual Pink Game on Saturday.

Looking At UAlbany
UAlbany recently extended its win streak to four games after taking down UMass Lowell 56-53 on Wednesday afternoon. Heather Forster tied a career-high in points with 16 while Alexi Schecter fell three rebounds short of a double-double with 13 points and seven boards.
Leading The Pack
Through 24 games in 2018-19, Kyara Frames is pacing the squad with 11.6 points and 3.0 assists per game. Alexi Schecter follows closely with 8.6 points per game, while Heather Forster chips in with 8.5 points and a team-high 7.1 boards per game. Defending America East Champions Maine comes to Albany with a league best 11-1 record. The Black Bears are riding a seven-game win streak and are led by Blanca Millian's 17.2 points per game. Tanesha Sutton and Parise Rossignol are averaging double-figures in scoring as well with 13.5 and 12.5 points, respectively. As a team, Maine is posting 67.32 points per game and holding opponents to an average of 59.08 points.
Paint Job
With 42 points coming from within the key, the Great Dane's established a new season-high for points in the paint against Manhattan on November 14. The Great Danes are 8-1 this season when scoring 30 or more points inside the paint.
Homecoming
Forward Alexi Schecter returned to her hometown of Lowell, Msss. where she put together a double-figure scoring performance with 13 points in front of her family and friends at the Tsongas Center on February 13. Schecter paced all players with seven rebounds in the Great Danes 56-53 win against UMass Lowell.
