Annie Songeun Lee Named MAAC Golfer Of The Month

EDISON, N.J. -- University at Albany sophomore Annie Songeun Lee has been named the MAAC Golfer of the Month for September, announced Wednesday by the conference office.

Lee recorded an average score of 76.5 in UAlbany's three September matches, competing at the Nittany Lion Invitational, Tignanelli Towson Invitational, and Dartmouth Invitational.

The Surrey, B.C. native recorded two top-10 finishes, tying for fifth amidst a field of 56 golfers at Penn State with a one-over-par 73 in her first round, a 76 in the second, and wrapped up the tournament with a 74.

At the Dartmouth Invitational, Lee she placed ninth individually in a field of 53, shooting a career-best 71 in her second round.

As a freshman, Annie Songeun Lee took home the MAAC individual title at the conference championship last spring.
