America East Releases 2014-15 Women's Basketball Conference Schedule
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – UAlbany has gone 45-3 in league play the past three seasons. With the Great Danes looking to better that total, the America East has released its women's basketball 16-game conference schedule.
The three-time reigning league champion will play conference games from January 3rd until March 1st. The 2015 America East Tournament will be played at Binghamton on March 7th and 8th, with the title game being hosted by the highest-seed remaining on a date to be determined.
UAlbany begins league play on Saturday, January 3rd at Maine. The next game is the first conference home game as the Great Danes host New Hampshire on Wednesday, January 7th at the SEFCU Arena.
In-state rivalry home games include Monday, January 19th vs. Stony Brook, a rematch of the 2014 America East championship game, and Wednesday, February 11th vs. Binghamton.
The Great Danes will get ready for the Big Purple Growl, set for Saturday, February 7th when UAlbany takes on UMass Lowell. The final conference game of the year will be on Sunday, March 1st, where UAlbany celebrates Senior Day and will take on Vermont.
