ALBANY, N.Y. - The University at Albany men's soccer team and head coach Trevor Gorman have officially released the 2025 season schedule.
 
"We are excited for the upcoming fall season & to get back on the pitch," Said Gorman. "This schedule provides us the opportunity to challenge ourselves and grow, throughout the season culminating with our America East matches – one of the best conferences in the country."
 
 
UAlbany is set to face three opponents coming off 2024 NCAA Tournament Appearances, including 2024 National Champions, and America East foe, Vermont.
 
The Great Danes will kick off their season on the road against on Aug. 21 at Fairleigh Dickinson. The team then returns to Bob Ford Field at Tom and Mary Casey Stadium, where they'll take on Central Connecticut State (Aug. 28) in the team's home opener, before heading down to face the 2023 and 2024 NEC Tournament champions, LIU (Aug. 31).
 
A two-match home stint will see UAlbany welcome Rhode Island (Sept. 5) and Marist (Sept. 9). Back-to-back road trips will then have the Great Danes take on Colgate (Sept. 16) and 2024 Ivy League Tournament Champions, Princeton (Sept. 20). The Final non-conference slate before America East play will see UAlbany matched up against Capital Region Rivals, Siena, on Sept. 23.
 
The first conference match for the Purple and Gold will take place on its home pitch when they kick off against NJIT (Sept. 27). On the road for two road matches In a row, UAlbany will head to New Hampshire (Oct. 4), before facing Bryant (Oct. 10). The Great Danes then take on the Retrievers of UMBC (Oct. 17) before it's non-conference break at Northeastern (Oct. 21). Down the final stretch of October, UAlbany will conclude its home matches against Binghamton (Oct. 25) and UMass Lowell (Nov.4), while on between, heading to Burlington, Vt. To take on the defending National Champions, Vermont (Oct. 31)
 
The 2025 America East Men's Soccer Championship begins on Nov. 8 with Quarterfinal matchups. Semifinal action is set for Nov. 12, with the Championship game scheduled for Nov. 16.
