ALBANY, N.Y. -  The United Soccer Coaches (USC) have announced the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's All-Northeast Region Team.
 
Representing UAlbany, was midfielder Ivar Gissurarson, who was named Second Team All-Northeast Region

Gissurarson, a junior from Reykjavík, Iceland, started in all 16 matches he appeared in and led UAlbany in scoring with 14 points from six goals and two assists. His six goals helped him finish fourth in the America East in goals and eighth in total points. The forward recorded multi-goal efforts in wins over Rhode Island (Sept. 5) and New Hampshire (Oct. 4) and netted the game-winner in the conference victory against the Wildcats. Along he recorded the most shots of any Great Dane with 34, logging 20 on goal for a shots-on-goal percentage of .558 percent.

The USC All-America teams will be announced on Friday, December 12.
