- Both Gabriel Aron Saevarsson and Brennan McDermott rattled off shots in the 16', but the Bryant defense kept the Great Danes off the board.
- Five minutes later, the Bulldogs broke the tie with a goal from a corner that lead to a header from Marcos Blasco to make it 1-nil.
- In the 25', Yuta Kimata evened the score on a penalty kick after being fouled inside the box to even the score at 1-1 with just over 20 minutes left in the first.
