BOSTON, Mass. - UAlbany volleyball's Maria Olga Siapani has been named the America East Setter of the Week, announced Tuesday.

Siapani recorded 50 assists in five sets at New Hampshire on Oct. 3, averaging 10.00 per set, and added 26 digs, five kills on .444 hitting, and two blocks. 

On the America East leaderboards, Siapani ranks first in assists per set at 8.24, while adding 2.71 digs per set from the setter spot. UAlbany also leads the conference in team digs per set at 15.55, fueling the transition offense she orchestrates.
