BOSTON, Mass. – UAlbany volleyball's Kasia Barletta has been named the America East Co-Defensive Player of the Week, announced Tuesday.

Barletta anchored the Great Danes' back row through a 2-0 weekend, totaling 46 digs across eight sets for a team-leading 5.75 digs per set. The sophomore libero also added eight aces on .941 serving, highlighted by a five-ace, 22-dig performance in Friday's win over NJIT and 24 digs with three aces against Siena.

On the America East leaderboards, Barletta leads the conference in service aces per set (0.41).
