- Shak Williams improved on his personal-best by five one-hundredths of a second, and was just two one-hundredths off the program record of 6.59 set at last year's Millrose Games by former teammate Travis Williams.
- Williams edged Demek Kemp for sixth place by four one-thousandths of a second.
- The men's 60m featured world record-holder Christian Coleman (1st, 6.51) as well as other top professional sprinters as Hakim Sani Brown (2nd, 6.54), Ackeem Blake (3rd, 6.55), and Andre deGrasse (8th, 6.62).
- The men's 4x400m relay was tripped up during the first leg of their race and did not finish.Â
