Pascale, Piseno Named All-ECAC

DANBURY, Conn. – Katie Pascale and Jake Piseno have earned Division I All-ECAC lacrosse honors following the 2023 season. 
 
Pascale, a junior midfielder from Baldwinsville, N.Y., earned a spot on the women's team.  The 2023 America East Midfielder of the Year and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-America Honorable Mention set UAlbany career program records in assists and total points in 2023, and also set the program's single-season record in draw controls, and the program's single-game record for total points.
 
Piseno, a senior long-stick midfielder from Liverpool, N.Y., earned a spot on the men's team as a defender.  The 2023 America East Defensive Player of the Year set UAlbany single-season and career records in caused turnovers.  Piseno earned All-America Honorable Mention from three outlets in 2023: Inside Lacrosse, USILA, and USA Lacrosse Magazine.
 
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-two-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast. The ECAC's esports platform is growing and now totals more than sixty colleges and universities and is expanding the geographic footprint for the conference nationally. The ECAC is also sponsoring competitions and leagues involving other varsity and club sports that do not fall under the umbrella of the NCAA.
