Short Story: Dominique Clarke and Jazmen Newberry kick off the women's events on Day Two at East Prelims.
 
How it Happened

• Dominique Clarke placed 24th in the women's 100m in a wind-aided 11.35 and Jazmen Newberry placed 45th in 11.68, her third-best time of the season.  Despite placing in the top-24, Clarke did not advance, due to the third-place finisher and final automatic qualifier in heat four finishing in a slower time.
• Clarke placed 32nd in the women's 200m in a wind-aided 23.41. 

Next: Travis Williams competes in tomorrow's men's 100m quarterfinal, having drawn heat two, lane three.  East Prelims concludes Saturday with the final women's events.
