ALBANY, N.Y. — The University at Albany Athletics Department has announced the promotions of Vic Cegles to Deputy Athletic Director and Leslie Moore to Associate Athletic Director for Facilities, Scheduling and Game Operations.
 
Cegles, who had served as the Associate Athletic Director for Revenue Enhancement since 2016, will have sport supervisory responsibilities for football, men's basketball and women's lacrosse. A 2008 graduate of Rutgers University who also has worked at Minnesota and VCU, Cegles will lead all of the department's external areas, including marketing, communications and ticket operations, while also developing strategic incentives to grow revenue. Cegles will also lead all corporate sales initiatives, be the department's liaison to its apparel provider, Under Armour, and have responsibility for future football scheduling.  
 
Moore came to UAlbany as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities, Scheduling and Game Operations in 2016 and was promoted to a Senior Staff position in 2018. She will continue to oversee all aspects of UAlbany Athletics' facilities and event operations. She also will serve as the sport supervisor for volleyball. A 2001 graduate of Temple, Moore joined UAlbany after nine years at Bucknell University, where she was the Assistant Athletics Director for Operations and Events from 2011-16.

"Both have proven to be dedicated leaders who have brought valuable insight and ideas to our senior leadership team. Their work has continually benefited our entire athletic department."
 
In addition to Cegles and Moore, Athletic Director Mark Benson's Senior Staff for the 2019-20 academic year will include:
 

• Lori Friel, Associate Athletic Director for Academic Services, who is the sport administrator for field hockey.
• Melissa Peach, Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, who is the sport administrator for women's golf.
• Cara White, Senior Woman Administrator, who is the sport administrator for women's soccer, women's basketball and men's lacrosse.
• Travis Wilson, Associate Athletic Director for Business, who is the sport administrator for cross country and track & field.
