ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany women's basketball team is set to host UMBC in its 14^th annual Commitment to Education Day on Wednesday, January 29. Tip-off is slated for 11 a.m. 
 
Each year, the Great Danes welcome local elementary and middle schools to campus for a great day of fun and educational experiences, along with a special scheduled early game time.

Senior Alexi Schecter established a new career high with 31 points against Columbia (Nov. 5). The Lowell, Mass. native shot 13-15 from the floor and 5-7 from the free throw line. She is the first Great Dane to record a 30- point game since Jessica Féquière scored 35 points against Maine during the 2017-18 season.
