GILBERT, Az. – The University at Albany field hockey team is one of 74 Division I programs to receive the 2017 Zag Field Hockey / NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award.

The awards, which were announced Tuesday, were given to programs who earned a team grade-point average of 3.30 or higher during the Fall Semester of the 2017-18 academic year.

The Great Danes posted a team GPA of 3.38.

The top five team GPAs nationally were Brown (3.74), Columbia (3.66), Harvard (3.63), LIU Brooklyn (3.59) and America (3.58).
