UAlbany Men's Lacrosse: 2016-17 America East Sport GPA Champion

ALBANY, N.Y. – The UAlbany men's lacrosse team has been honored as an America East sport GPA champion for the 2016-17 season.

The UAlbany men's lacrosse team sported a 3.27 GPA for the 2016-17 season.  Three players, AJ Kluck, Kyle McClancy and Justin Reh earned places on the America East All-Academic Team while Josh Egan was the sport's America East Elite 17 winner.

The team was one of three GPA champions to also have won the America East championship, along with UMBC women's swimming and diving and Stony Brook men's cross country.

In addition, UAlbany finished tied for fourth in the 2016-17 America East Walter Harrison Academic Cup Standings with a program GPA of 3.17.

Hartford and New Hampshire each shared the America East Academic Cup with a department GPA of 3.31, with UMass Lowell being third at 3.2.
