ALBANY, N.Y. – University at Albany men's lacrosse standout Silas Richmond is taking center stage on the national landscape. Following his selection as the No. 5 overall pick by the Philadelphia Waterdogs in the 2024 PLL Draft, Richmond is the featured subject of the latest episode of THROUGH X with Paul Carcaterra.
 
Produced by The Lacrosse Network (TLN), the episode offers an in-depth look at the Great Danes' star attacker. Hosted by renowned lacrosse analyst Paul Carcaterra, the feature includes exclusive interviews with Richmond and members of the UAlbany coaching staff, detailing his journey to becoming one of the premier players in the country.
 
This marks a significant return to the national spotlight for the program; UAlbany was last featured on the series in 2018, highlighting former stars Connor Fields and Tehoka Nanticoke.

One of the most decorated players in recent program history, Richmond was drafted No. 5 overall by Philly mid-game on Tuesday night, learning of the selection after the game. He currently sits as the defending America East Player of the Year and leads the league in both goals and assists. He has cemented his legacy in the Capital Region by climbing into the top-10 of the UAlbany record books in career goals, assists, and total points.
