Men's Soccer Earns NSCAA 2014-15 Team Academic Award Recognition

NSCAA RELEASE
KANSAS CITY, MO. – For the third consecutive season, University at Albany men's soccer (4-2-1) received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award, the organization announced on Wednesday afternoon.
To be eligible for the honor, teams must post a GPA of 3.00 or higher for the academic year. The Purple & Gold dialed in with a GPA of 3.01 in 2014-15. UAlbany has earned NSCAA Team Academic accolades in each of the last three seasons, and in four of the last five.
One of 305 men's teams honored, UAlbany is also one of 208 NCAA schools across all three divisions to have both its men's and women's soccer teams recognized for academic achievement last year.
