ALBANY, N.Y. – A clash between two of New York's finest men's lacrosse teams can be seen by all as the UAlbany-Syracuse game at the Carrier Dome on Thursday, April 2nd at 7 p.m. will be broadcast on ESPN3, the network has announced.

The last two seasons, UAlbany and Syracuse have played epic overtime battles in the Carrier Dome.  In 2013, Miles Thompson scored the double overtime goal from Lyle Thompson for the 16-15 win and the first UAlbany victory over the Orange.  Then in 2014, UAlbany fought back from down five to tie the game with minutes left before falling 17-16 after an overtime score by Syracuse.

UAlbany comes into the season ranked #12 in the USILA Coaches Poll and #11 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.  Syracuse is ranked #4 in each poll in the preseason.

UAlbany will have another chance to play a national television game.  The America East title game, set for May 2nd at 10 a.m., will be aired live on ESPNU.

The ESPNU and ESPN3 lacrosse schedules were released publicly on Tuesday.  In total, 68 lacrosse regular season games, 48 men's and 20 women's, will be broadcast by the ESPN family of networks in 2015.
