• Yaya “Uncle Ya” Keita was born in 2001 and calls Ballwin, Mo. home.
• Guardians are Jim and Cindy Harter.
• Has three siblings: Annie, Jim, and Brendan.
• Brother Brendan competed in high jump at St. Thomas.
• Originally from Mali, where he grew up playing soccer before moving to the U.S. and focusing on basketball.
• Enjoys cooking.
• Chose UAlbany to extend his college career.
