Lucas Watt joined the UAlbany men's soccer coaching staff in August 2026, having competed for five seasons as a Great Dane, serving as a captain for his final two years. 

As a player, Watt appeared in 62 career matches for UAlbany, making 41 starts and logging more than 3,200 minutes on the pitch. He was a part of three America East Tournament appearances, including a runner-up finish in 2022. 

A native of Kuujjuaq, Québec, Canada, Watt earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from UAlbany in the spring of 2025. He is currently working on a master's degree in Educational Psychology and Methodology.
