Jason Ramundo begins his first season at UAlbany where he oversees the training and development of the Great Dane goalkeepers.
A three-year varsity starter from nearby Colonie High School, Ramundo played collegiate soccer at SUNY Cobleskill. He later advanced to the professional ranks for five years with the Albany Alleycats and New York Capital District Shockers of the USISL and PDL, respectively.

Ramundo is currently ranked as one of the top indoor goalkeepers in the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL), where he has led the New York Shockers to nationals five times. In addition, Ramundo has earned gold and silver medals playing for Adirondack at the New York Empire State Games.

The volunteer assistant also served as a player/assistant coach for the Albany Admirals of the Premier Development League (PDL) where he was responsible for conducting team practices, developing game day lineups and scouting opponents. Furthermore, he played six matches for the squad in goal.

Ramundo has been on staff with the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program (ODP) since 2005 where he serves as the goalkeeping coach. Additionally, he currently coaches with the Albany Alleycats Premier club and is the director at Game Saving Academy where he oversees goalkeepers of all ages and levels.

Ramundo holds an Advanced National Diploma and his National Goalkeeping Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
