Will Ferris joined the UAlbany men’s basketball coaching staff in June 2026.
Ferris returns to the Great Danes after spending the past season as a Graduate Assistant for the program. In this role, he was primarily responsible for video coordination, various analytical endeavors, and program operations.
He also assisted in player development throughout the year, working closely with America East First Team selection Amir Lindsey and America East Defensive Player of the Year Okechukwu Okeke.
Ferris arrived in the Capital Region after three years as the head student manager for Elon University, where he managed video scouting duties and coordinated summer camps for youth student-athletes. He also spent time working in the grassroots basketball scene for several organizations throughout the Southeast.
Ferris received his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Elon University in 2025 and received a Certificate of Graduate Study in Communication from UAlbany in May.
