HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity football letters … Totaled 48 tackles and three sacks as a senior … Earned First Team All-Colonial Conference and First Team All-Group II honors as a junior and senior … Helped the Bulldogs to a 2010 state championship and an 11-1 record in back-to-back seasons in 2011 and 2012 … Also competed in lacrosse and was named second team all-conference in 2011.

PERSONAL: Son of Amy and Scott Knecht … Has two sisters, Kelly and Meghan … Plans to major in business administration.
