Short Story: The University at Albany baseball team scored 20 runs on 15 hits Tuesday afternoon, cruising past Le Moyne in a dominant midweek victory at Varsity Field.

How it Happened:
- UAlbany wasted no time getting on the board in the first inning. John Vitucci walked to lead off the game before Michael Maggio tripled into left center to bring home the opening run. Later in the inning, Tre Mariano added a sacrifice fly to give the Great Danes a 2-0 lead.
- Le Moyne answered with a run in the second, but the Great Danes quickly responded. Joe Perri and Patrick DeSarno reached before Vitucci ripped a two-RBI double into left center to extend the lead to 4-1.
- The game broke open in the third inning when UAlbany plated six runs. Brian Guerrero delivered a two-RBI single before Joe Perri added an RBI knock. Wild pitches allowed two more runs to score before Tre Mariano was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to make it 10-1 after three innings.
- After a scoreless fourth, the Great Danes added three more in the fifth. Michael Maggio lined an RBI single to center before Mariano picked up another RBI on a sacrifice fly. Logan Morris later added an RBI single to stretch the lead to 13-1.
- UAlbany put the game completely out of reach in the sixth inning, erupting for seven more runs. Zach Mravlja drew a bases-loaded walk before Tre Mariano cleared the bases with a three-RBI double into left center. Justin Hurd added a sacrifice fly later in the inning, and Joe Perri capped the frame with an RBI single to push the advantage to 20-1.
- Le Moyne added two runs in the seventh, but the Great Danes closed out the 20-3 victory to wrap up the midweek matchup.
