Event: NYS Collegiate Championships
 
Location: Fish Creek in Saratoga, N.Y. 

Short Story:
The UAlbany women's rowing team competed at the NYS Collegiate Championships on Saturday, as the Varsity Eight+ found themselves making it to the A Final of the Championships, finishing second in their heat with a time of 7:20.953. The Second Varsity Eight+ also found themselves in the A Finals, having finished second in their qualifying heat with a time of 7:25.141. The Varsity Four+ would go on to qualify in their Heat for the Petit-Finals, finishing third with a time of 9:02.559.  The Frosh/Novice Four+ would round out the morning races for UAlbany, finishing third with a time of 9:15.614.
 
The Varsity Eight+ managed to take a fifth-place finish in the finals with a time of 7:32.555. The Second Varsity Eight+ took home fourth place in the finals with a time of 7:52.471. In the Petit-Final of the Varsity Four+, the Great Danes took home third with a time of 9:39.434

The Great Danes' next race will take a couple weeks off of competition before traveling back to New Jersey on the Cooper River for the Jefferson Dad ail Regatta
