Short Story: The UAlbany women's lacrosse team earned a road victory over Colgate on Saturday afternoon behind a balanced offensive effort that featured four Great Danes with multiple goals.

• Ravan Marsell led the Great Danes with seven points on five goals and two assists while adding five draw controls.
• Paisley Cook tallied six points with four goals and two assists while taking a game-high 13 shots, including 12 on goal.
• Mya Carroll added four points on three goals and one assist while recording a team-high five draw controls.
• Jaedyn Frink scored twice and added two ground balls.
• Grace Cincebox played all 60 minutes in goal, making nine saves to earn the victory.

How it Happened:

• Colgate opened the scoring early in the first quarter before UAlbany responded quickly with goals from Paisley Cook and Mya Carroll to take the lead.
• The Great Danes continued the run with scores from Carroll, Cook, and three straight from Ravan Marsell to build a 7-2 advantage after the first quarter.
• UAlbany extended its lead in the second quarter, highlighted by a man-up goal from Marsell and two more goals from Cook.
• Late goals from Jaedyn Frink and Zareena Sorho helped the Great Danes take a 12-5 lead into halftime.
• Colgate pushed back in the third quarter with three goals, but Frink found the back of the net with an assist from Riley Forthofer to maintain a five-goal cushion as UAlbany led 13-8 heading into the fourth.
• The Raiders cut the lead to two midway through the fourth quarter, but the Great Danes responded with three straight goals from Marsell, Carroll, and Amanda Williamson to seal the 16-13 victory.
