Men’s Basketball Falls To Vermont in Final Regular Season Matchup

Score:  UAlbany 56, Vermont 69

Location: Patrick Gymnasium | Burlington, Vt .

Records:  UAlbany (11-20, 7-9 America East), Vermont (20-11, 12-4 America East)

Short Story:  The University at Albany men's basketball team concluded regular season play with a loss to the Vermont Catamounts.

Coach  Killings:  "I thought we played hard and came in prepared, but they were better than us today. Gus had a big game, they shot well from three, and their eight offensive rebounds led to 10 second-chance points. The bench made an impact, and they capitalized on our 13 turnovers for 19 points. We showed resilience during our run, but when they pushed back, we didn't have enough left. There's a lot to learn from this as we shift our focus to being mentally ready for the playoffs."
