Women’s Rowing Shines with First-Place Finishes Across Varsity 8+ Boats

Location: Lake Lanier in Gainesville, Georgia

Short Story: The University at Albany women's rowing program had an impressive day at the John Ferris Regatta, its first of the 2026 spring season, sweeping first place in both the Varsity 8+ and Second Varsity 8+ events with times of 7:21.347 and 7:29.079, respectively. The Varsity 4+ crew finished fifth, while the Novice 4+ took third.
