SHORT STORY: UAlbany controlled the game for more than 32 minutes but New Hampshire went 4-4 from three in the final period and closed out a 45-42 finish, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UAlbany responded to an early UNH burst with stops and transition chances to jump in front.
- Amaya Stewart attacked the rim for points and a free throw during a quick swing that flipped the momentum.
- Lara Langermann knocked down a three off a turnover as UAlbany took a 10-7 lead after one.
- The Purple and Gold opened the period with a 7-0 push, capped by a three from graduate student Júlia Palomo Vicente to stretch the margin.
- Stewart worked the paint and the boards and the Great Danes built their largest lead at 17-7.
- Delanie Hill drilled a late three to keep the cushion, sending UAlbany into halftime up 22-15.
- Out of the break, the pace slowed and both teams traded empty trips as UAlbany kept New Hampshire off the board early.
- Hill buried a three and graduate student Bella Stuart finished inside as the Great Danes carried a 30-24 lead into the fourth.
- The Wildcats drilled back-to-back threes to cut the deficit, then tied it at 34-34 with 4:30 left.
- Stewart answered with finishes at the rim to keep it level, but UNH surged ahead with another three and a putback.
- Stewart scored with eight seconds left to make it a one-possession game, but the Wildcats sealed it at the line, 45-42.
