SHORT STORY: Three women competed on the final day of regionals with
Amelia Benjamin taking home the highest finish, Saturday.
KEY NOTES
- The Great Danes had two freshmen and one sophomore competing on the final day of regionals.
- Lalenii Grant was the first to finish her event with a 25th-place finish to end her rookie season at regionals.
- Amelia Benjamin and Miyanah Robinson closed it out on the high jump.
- After clearing the first two heights (1.69m & 1.74m) on her first attempt, Robinson was unable to get over the 1.79-meter bar and finished tied for 17th.
- Benjamin cleared the 1.79-meter jump on her second attempt for a season best. The sophomore was unable to clear 1.82m and fell to 13th due to a tie-break going back to the second height (1.74m).
