How it Happened:
- Daniel Kesselring tallied the first goal of the game three minutes in.
- Jacob Moran and Silas Richmond each found the back of the net once, while Ryan Doherty added two more goals in the first quarter to give UAlbany a 5-0 lead after 15 minutes of play.
- With 10:17 to play in the second, Amos Whitcomb was the only player to find the back of the net as the Great Danes took a 6-0 lead entering the locker room at half.
- Bryant came out to start the second half with five unanswered goals to attempt a comeback, making it 6-5 UAlbany with 8:03 to go in the third.
- Silas Richmond found his second goal of the game with 5:24 to play to break the Bulldogs' scoring streak.
- With 0:20 remaining before the fourth quarter, Ryan Doherty netted his third goal of the game with the Great Danes leading 8-5 entering the final frame.
- Richmond tallied his hat trick goal with some behind-the-back magic 1:19 into the fourth quarter.
- Max Neeson's pole goal from the top of the box would go on to make it a 10-5 UAlbany lead as just over 10 minutes remained in regulation time.
- Bryant would cut its deficit back to four, scoring with 5:59 on the clock, making it 10-6, before Koleton Marquis pushed UAlbany back to a five-goal lead with 4:13 to play.
- The Bulldogs answered back with 3:53 to play, as the Purple and Gold still led 11-7.
- Neeson would net his second goal of the contest, ripping a full-field shot from the defensive zone to secure the Great Danes' 12-7 victory for the America East Championship.
