Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball program clinched their spot in the Jersey Mike's Men's America East Men's Basketball Semifinals after a win on Saturday night.
Coach Dwayne Killings: "We battled. I thought we showed a lot of heart, a lot of character. Over the last couple of days, we've done a lot of different things to prepare for playing at home. Our guys were locked into the details... We were a very locked in, competitive, focused group of guys that were determined to win this basketball game, and I'm very proud of them."

- Amar'e Marshall led all scorers with 20 points, Byron Joshua followed with 16 points.
- DeMarr Langford Jr. led off the glass with 11 rebounds.

How it Happened:
- In the first five minutes of the game, UAlbany gained the advantage by outscoring the Bearcats, 13-11.
- Both teams continued to swap points back-and-forth, and Binghamton was able to take a small 21-20 lead, 9:54.
- Shortly after the Great Danes found a six-point run to put themselves back on top, 26-21, with 8:28 left in the half.
- The Bearcats managed to outscore UAlbany, 6-5, between 7:27 and 3:41, but the Great Danes remained ahead, 31-27.
- At 3:25 UAlbany went on an eight-point run, which was highlighted by threes from Amir Lindsey and Amar'e Marshall, to put them ahead 39-27.
- Binghamton finished out first-half scoring from beyond the arc, but the Great Danes still went into halftime with a 39-30 advantage.
- After some initial exchanging of points, the Bearcats found a six-point run at 18:46 to gain some momentum in the beginning of the second half.
- Between 17:26 and 14:08, Binghamton just outscored UAlbany, 7-6, and the Great Danes remained with the lead, 49-45.
- UAlbany bounced back with a six-point run of their own to go up 55-45 at 11:53.
- By 8:37, the Great Danes were able to top the Bearcats, 9-5, to stay on top, 64-50.
- Binghamton answered by cutting UAlbany's lead to four points, 66-62, with 3:30 left in the game.
- In the final three minutes of the game, the Bearcats outscored the Great Danes, 4-3, but it wasn't enough to take the win from UAlbany. The Great Danes finished on top, 69-66.
