Short Story: The University at Albany men's basketball program fell to Bryant in the 2025 Jersey Mike's America East Men's Basketball Playoffs by a score of 91-78.

Coach Dwayne Killings: "Regarding the season, I think it was a season of growth. You look back, and I think we all would say to each other that there were some opportunities to get another win here or there, but you know, at the end of the day, we reached the semifinals in the conference tournament, which is a huge goal. One of our goals this year was to finish in the top 4 in the League… there's a lot of positive, and if you look in the grand scheme of it… in the second half of League play tells you a lot about the direction of the program."

How it Happened:

•  UAlbany opened the game with an 8-3 lead thanks to four points from DeMarr Langford Jr.
• Bryant would take its first lead of the game at 14:10 by a score of 10-8.
• Over the next four minutes, the Bulldogs would outscore the Great Danes 8-4 to lead 19-12.
• A three from Amar'e Marshall and Kheni Briggs would make it a five-point game, 22-18, just under eight minutes to play in the first.
• Bryant managed to outscore the Great Danes 13-3 over the next three minutes to lead 35-21 with 4:48 to play.
• UAlbany would put together a 12-5 run, to come back to within single digits, and close out the half trailing 39-33.
• Bryant began the opening five minutes of the second half by outscoring the Great Danes 15-10 to gain a 52-43 edge.
• A huge 16-5 run from the Bulldogs would give them the 68-48 lead with 13 minutes remaining.
• Byron Joshua and Briggs would combine to outscore Bryant 8-0 just over the next minute, cutting UAlbany's deficit to 12 points, 68-56.
• In the following two minutes, the Bulldogs would respond with a 10-2 run of their own to lead 78-58 with 8:00 to go.
• The next four minutes would see both teams score an even 11 points to make it 89-69 Bryant with 3:30 remaining.
• UAlbany's 9-2 run to finish the game was not enough, falling to the Bulldogs 91-78
