UAlbany Hangs on to Defeat Hofstra in Game Two

Score: UAlbany 10, Hofstra 8

Location: University Field Hempstead, NY

Records: UAlbany (5-4, 0-0 America East) | Hofstra (4-9, 0-0 CAA)

Short Story: UAlbany won the second game of the series against Hofstra, their fourth straight win overall.

Head Coach Jon Mueller"The guys continue to respond when they are down. We had some defensives lapses today and we paid for it. Our execution with runners in scoring position with less than two outs was 100%. We pitched 3 freshmen for the entire game, and they all had their rookie moments. Tyler steadied the ship in the middle and Alex Enea was outstanding at the end.  The offense is a work in progress."
