• Ryan Pittz started the game for the Great Danes and Jackson Bauer started on the mound for Hofstra.
• Hofstra jumped out to an early four to nothing lead in the bottom of the first after a Luke Masiuk grand slam.
• The Pride then took a six to nothing lead in the fourth after Trenton Snyder hit a two-run homerun.
• Matthew Mariano came on to pitch for the Great Danes in the bottom of the fourth.
• Hofstra proceeded to score seven more runs in the fourth, making the score 13-0.
• Ethan Nardacci came in to pitch for UAlbany in the fifth.
• In the top of the sixth, the Pride brought in Micahel Heyman to finish the game on the mound. 
• Christian Mello then came in to pitch for UAlbany in the sixth.
• After Hofstra scored three more runs in the bottom of the fifth, Luke Masiuk hit his second grand slam of the day in the sixth, making the score 20-0.
